2009 Holiday Shipping Guidelines
Most of our products are very heavy (over 150 Lbs), and thus cannot be shipped via FedEx or UPS, and require 18 Wheel Truck Delivery, which typically takes from 2 to 4 weeks to deliver on average.
and with the upcoming holiday season (Christmas, New Years, etc) many manufacturers shutdown all operations for a week or two at the end of the year, and coupled with very likely chance of major winter storms within North America, shipments during this period can and do take longer than normal
Our Guaranteed Holiday Delivery Service (Delivery on or before December 24, 2009) applies to
all orders for goods in-stock at the manufacturer and ordered on or prior to December 4th, 2009
If you are placing a Holiday Order AFTER December 4, 2009 and are concerned about getting your
item before December 24th, we cannot guarantee delivery by that date, but in many cases your order can make it by then - but this depends on the item ordered, your location and the weather. If your order cannot be delivered prior to 12/24, there is a very effective alternate solution : After ordering, simply print out the page the product you ordered is located on, then fold it into a holiday card - We guarantee they will be eagerly anticipating the arrival of their gift with glee even days after the holiday ends !
Don't be tricked by claims of "Free Shipping" - Many times this involves you and your very strong friends renting a truck and driving 30 minutes to pickup your 350+ Lbs game from some remote airport
or trucking terminal - or worse, shipping deals that offer free "home", "ground" or "door to door" delivery,
but don't bother to tell you this really means your delivery is only as far as your street curbside.
Did you know that all curbside deliveries without " Liftgates " actually make you responsible for
taking the game off the back of the truck? And even with a liftgate it is a nightmare - Imagine having
a 18-wheel semi-trailer pull up to your location and having the driver tell you that you have to move a
heavy 350 to 1200 + Lbs game that comes crated and in a box the size of a refrigerator or larger
from his truck, and then having to deal with the potentially dangerous chore of uncrating, unpacking
and moving these heavy games into your location, all without ever dropping it, scratching it, or hurting yourself, friends or family in the process ? And what do you do if its cold, raining, snowing, slippery or
if your game needs to be moved upstairs or downstairs or around the back of your home or location ?
We have the answer : If you do not want to deal with the hassle and hazards of lifting heavy games,
we offer all our customers on of the best solutions around with our nationwide Inside Delivery Program. Upon delivery, our drivers will place your game in the location of your choosing inside of the ground floor of location, and will then remove all packaging, if requested. We can also arrange for delivery of your purchase upstairs, downstairs or "around the back" for a slight additional charge.
Curbside Delivery with Liftgate Service is also available for new games at a lower cost for those customers who are aware of the factors involved with these types of deliveries, and are capable of
handling the moving of heavy games into their locations. Curbside shipping is also used for some
of our "less heavy" items like Slot Machines, Popcorn Machines, Countertop Videos, etc - Please
