Guitar Hero Arcade (GHA) is based upon the top hit game “Guitar Hero III Legends of Rock.”, and this arcade model can be described as a “hybrid-mashup" of both “Guitar Hero III” and “Guitar Hero World Tour” guitar games.

Guitar Hero Arcade offers players the chance to select their favorite song from a library of 50 popular titles. Choose either lead guitar or bass guitar and rock out
with your favorite band ! A 32" LCD monitor allows the player to join the band on stage and the High-Definition Graphics give the players an "in-your-face" experience!

With a cabinet consisting of over 400 Superbright LED's
for one awesome light show, along with its 32" LCD Widescreen Monitor, a 8 Speaker Sound System and
new "Industrial-Strength" Guitars and Peripherals (that were developed specifically for this game), GHA will
soon be a proven cash money cow when placed in

Guitar Hero is now scheduled to be released to arcades worldwide in mid to late March 2009. “Guitar Hero Arcade” is based upon “Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock.” This arcade model has been described as a “hybrid-mashup" of “Guitar Hero III” and “Guitar Hero World Tour” guitar games. Development on the arcade version began when “World Tour” was still being built, and the "GH Would Tour” has an influence on Guitar Hero Arcade. The new "industrial-strength" guitar peripheral that was developed for the game (created in conjunction with Konami and “Guitar Hero” collaborator Red Octane) are based on the design of the “World Tour" guitar, but does not feature the slide mechanic. Some game features have been streamlined for the arcade version, like character customization. The creators did not want people obsessing over the details of their on-screen rock star persona, this being a coin-operated arcade game - But a feature that has remained is "downloadable" content. Guitar Hero Arcade has the ability to download all-new songs using the Internet,
and owners of the machine will be able to pick and choose which of the new songs to add to their cabinet.
