David Young - Founder and CEO
David Young
is Chairman of the
Board and Chief Executive Officer of BMI Gaming, Inc., which
he
founded in 2002. Previously, Mr. Young had served for ten years as President
and CEO of
Boca
Micro Technology,
a international semiconductor and electronic components distributor.
Under his leadership, BMI Gaming, a international arcade games
distributor, has experienced
a
growth rate of over 2800%, and
has garnered such prominent national business awards as
PwC / Entrepreneur Magazine's "Hot 100 List" of the fastest
growing firms in America in 2006 ,
Internet Retailer Magazine's "Top 500 List" of the largest internet
retailers in both 2006 and 2007,
and most recently,
INC. Magazine's "Inc. 500" list of the fastest growing
private firms in Oct. 2007.
Mr. Young, a serial entrepreneur, began his business career in the mid
80's by leaving college
to
start PC Productions, one
of the
first personal computer "clone" manufacturing firms in the
nation,
based
in Northern New Jersey,
and since then has been profiled in many leading
local, national and international print
publications, radio and television broadcasts covering
his business
and entrepreneurial success story.
Mr. Young is active with many local,
national and global charities, is a life member
of the Young Professionals for Covenant House,
as well as being a both a direct lender and vocal proponent of social entrepreneurship
programs, with his strong
backing and
support of global microlender Kiva.Org.
A native of Mendham, NJ, Mr. Young resides in Boca Raton,
Florida.
Paul Jacobs
- President
Paul Jacobs holds the position of
President with BMI Gaming, and
is also responsible
for new
business development and management of
both the business
to-business and
business-to-
consumer sales units, in addition to product management and
vendor relations .
Mr.
Jacobs, a long-time veteran of the amusement industry, brings an
extensive and varied resume
to the company. He has held top executive positions
with such prominent Japanese video game
manufacturers as Capcom, Data East, SNK and
Universal, in addition to having launched and
sold his own successful amusement
distributing and operating companies in previous years.
In all, Paul brings to BMI Gaming over forty years of solid
industry experience, covering all levels
of
the coin-operated
amusement and arcade
game industries, from distribution to manufacturing
to
arcade game location
operations. Paul has
served on many amusement industry committees
throughout his career,
with major industry associations such
as the AAMA and AMOA in the past.
Mr. Jacobs is a graduate of Northwestern University in Illinois, and
earned dual degrees in Political Science and
Business Administration.
A
native of Milwaukee, WI, Mr. Jacobs is currently married with two
children,
and resides in Jupiter, Florida.
Joshua Wilson - Operations Manager
Joshua Wilson is one of the newest additions to BMI Gaming's
management
team, with full responsibility for our Accounting Department, as well
as overseeing
the day-to-day "back of the house" operations of the firm.
Mr. Wilson joins BMI Gaming with over 11 years of solid accounting
experience,
including positions as a Financial Analyst and Staff Accountant for
well-known
Fortune 500 companies such as Conseco and MGM-MIRAGE, among others.
Josh also possesses experience in a variety of other roles with small
businesses,
and is also entrepreneurially-minded, having owned his own successful
business.
Mr. Wilson is a graduate of Indiana University-Kelley School of
Business, and holds dual degrees in both Finance
and Accounting.
A native of Indianapolis, Indiana, Josh is currently single, and resides
in Delray Beach, Florida.
Jay Fleming - Transportation and Logistics Manager
Jay Fleming heads up BMI Gaming's Transportation and Logistics department.
Mr. Fleming comes to BMI Gaming
with over 13 years of solid transportation and
logistical experience, working for a variety of freight companies in
the past, such as
JayMark Express, Airport Distributors in Elk Grove Village, IL. and
Cardinal Logistics
of Tamarac, FL.
Jay
starting his transportation career at the early age of 20, joining
JayMark as a truck dispatcher, and successfully progressed in his
profession to the
position of Operations Manager just eight years later. A native of
Charlotte, North
Carolina, Jay is currently married with two children, and resides in
Tamarac, Florida.
