The BMI Gaming / The Stinger Report, ' Best Of Show Awards ' highlights and rewards the very best in new arcade games while also recognizing and celebrating the vibrant creativity and innovation within the amusement industry, and helps to publicize amusement product excellence worldwide, starting with the first awards made at IAAPA Expo 2011.

The criteria used to judge the 'Best Of Show Awards ' (BOSA) are based solely on qualified products (products that BMI
Worldwide is an authorized distributor for, or firms new to the industry) we review at select international amusement industry trade events, in which all arcade games reviewed by our judges are assigned weighted scores in these six (6) categories : Game Originality, Uniqueness, Market Relevance, Earning Potential, Pricing and the all-important 'Fun Factor & Playability '.

BOSA Awards are issued in two categories at present, Video Arcade Games and Redemption Games, with each category having only the potential to be selected for a Gold, Silver or Bronze Medal or Honorable Mention Award, with medals awards
depending solely on the amount and quality of qualifying new arcade games and products reviewed at each show we attend.
Future BOSA Award categories may include from time to time : Sports Arcade Games, Motion Simulators and Kiddy Rides

Publicity for the ' Best Of Show Awards ' includes a press release sent to amusement industry publications and global media outlets via PRNewsWire, a feature article in The Stinger Report, inclusion on BMIGaming's Home and New Products pages, with the winners products featured on High-Definition BOSA Video Clips posted to the BMIGaming.com YouTube Channel, currently the most watched online video channel globally for amusement and arcade machine products.
